Primary Multiage Program

o       A child centered, progressive approach to learning

o       Two year program for 7-9 year olds

o       39 student laboratory of divergent learning, allowing flexible grouping

o       Individualized differentiated instruction

o       Teachers design the curriculum, based on county/state standards

o       Highly engaged hands-on math and science, AIMS, MOOTB (Math Out of the Box) ,   Literature studies based on non-fiction books

o       Children make choices for learning based on readiness, interest, and learning style

Why Multiage?

Multiage classes are based on flexible grouping which allows children to participate at their own level of learning and social interaction. Some benefits of multiage grouping are:
