Volunteer Opportunities:

If you are interested in volunteering in the library please contact the PTSA Volunteer Coordinator or stop by to speak with the library staff. 
Book Fair - Please consider volunteering for our fall or spring book fair. We will need help with set-up, running the registers and monitoring students during the fair and packing up when it's all over with. 
Sweets and Treats - We are always looking for fun ways to promote and reward reading contests. Let us know if we can count on you to help us provide goodies or small prizes for students (small gift certificates to book stores, cool pens and other trinkets). 

Library Wish List:

·       Boxes of tissues

·       Brightly colored copy paper (Astro Bright - lime green, orange, yellow)

·       Notebook paper, pens, pencils, markers, colored pencils, glue sticks, safety scissors

·       Gift certificates for student prizes (any denomination - bookstores, restaurants, iTunes, Amazon, Target, etc.)

·       Gift certificates to purchase library books

·      Gift certificates to Jersey Mike's and Dunkin Donuts for reading incentive parties and book club meetings


How the Library Works: 
  • We are open from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm each day and extended hours by appointment. If students need to come early or stay late they must clear their arrangements with Mrs. Fansher at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Students are welcome to visit the library throughout the day with a pass signed by their teacher in their agenda
  • Regularly circulating books can be checked out for 3 weeks at a time. Books can be renewed if they are not on hold for another student. Overdue fines for regular books are $0.05 per book per school day. 
  • Magazines can be checked out overnight. Overdue fees for magazines are $0.25 per item per school day. 
  • Students must pay any overdue fines or charges for lost or damaged materials before they are allowed to check-out additional materials.
