Technology is "the know-how and creative processes that may assist people to utilize tools, resources and systems to solve problems and to enhance control over the natural and man-made environment in an endeavour to improve the human condition". (UNESCO 1985)
As a technology teacher at Beck Academy, my classes include Computer Technology, Keyboarding and Yearbook Production (1st Semester).
All our technology classes are aligned with state and local technology standards. Our technology classes prepare students to use computer applications effectively, efficiently and ethically.
