Woodmont Middle School Mission Statement:
Woodmont Middle School will prepare students academically and socially to become responsible, productive citizens of a global society.
IB Mission Statement:
The International Baccaluareate Organization aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end, the IBO works with schools, governments, and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can be right.
Information About Miss Vernon:
This is my seventh year at Woodmont Middle School. I am an eighth grade English teacher, and I teach English I Honors and Eighth Grade Language Arts. I do my best to provide a quality curriculum that challenges students to grow as independent learners.
