Who we are: 
The Trainable Students and their staff
at Eastside High School
2011-2012
When we started:
This self-contained class was assigned to Eastside and this is its sixth year in its new home.  We are so happy to have it as part of the Eastside family.  Brenda Cisson is the teacher and Mrs. Robin Hinton and Mrs. Robyn Turk are our classroom aides.  They both assist with all areas of the educational growth of these students.  We also use peer tutors and volunteers in our classes.
Where we are headed:
Our students will successfully complete the goals and objectives of their Individualized Education Plans and graduate one day from Eastside High School with a district certificate.  They daily work to become  independent, contributing members of society and to improve their personal living skills through studying basic academics, socialization, transition to adult hood, and pre-employment activities.
