Mission Statement
We provide educational experiences, in cooperation with the home and community, that prepare students for lifelong learning and for ethical, productive participation in a democratic society and the global community.

"Take the attitude of a student, never be too big to ask questions, never know too much to learn something new."

Og Mandino

This year the Related Arts team will be using a new theme, "On the Road to Success." You will notice that all four bulletin boards have our theme broken into 4 sections that lists our curriculum taught for each grading period during the school year.

I have talked with my students, metaphorically, about how they will gas up in the beginning, then travel along to eventually end up at their final, individual destination.

We talked about how they would plan for a trip as well as what they would need in order to have a funfilled, meaningful trip. Much like a trip, in art class we need to plan, persevere and use our tools correctly.

Each child will then be encouraged to "truck along" throughout the school year so that hopefully their trip will provide a memorable, successful year in art as we travel together on the road to success.
