School social workers are an important link betweeen home, school and community.  I can help families with  communication between parents and teachers; arranging parent conferences(including transportation if needed), assisting parents with help in getting clothing, shoes, school supplies or needed medical treatment  for their children.  Social workers also encourage daily attendance by providing incentives for students with perfect attendance, and making personal contacts with families to help meet needs that may cause students to miss school.

If you need a complete listing of  emergency food and crisis ministries available in Greenville County, look on the main school district web page under social work services. or call me for a copy.

We look forward to helping your child and your family to have a great year in 2010-2011; please call if I can be of assistance to you.
