The mission of our Guidance Department can be summed up by the acronym, PASS, Patriot Academic Student Services. We invite you to visit your Guidance Department. We are here to assist our students with course selections, college and career choices and answer any questions you may have.

The counseling program at J. L. Mann follows a developmental model serving students in several areas -- classroom visits, small groups, and individual counseling. Additionally, we work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to insure that students have a positive learning experience.
Our department is comprised of five full-time counselors and a guidance clerk. In addition, this year Greenville County added Career Development Facilitators (CDF) to the high schools.
