Washington Center’s Mission Statement



We provide educational experiences, in cooperation with the home and community, that prepare students for lifelong learning and for ethical, productive participation in a democratic society and the global community.

In October, units of study will be Hispanic Heritage Month, the Human Body, and Halloween.  Each unit brings about many fun activities, crafts, and cooking lessons. 

October brings about many exciting activities.  Please mark your calendars for upcoming events and dates listed below.

Cooler weather is approaching.   Please make sure your child has an extra supply of seasonal clothes in case of emergencies.  Thanks for everyone who contributed to our classroom snacks last month.  As always, we welcome any donations that help with the cost of snacks.

May 28:  Memoral Day holiday
May 30-June 1:  1/2 days for students (8:00-12:00)
May 31:  Awards Day/Graduation
June 1:  last student day
