Parents and Students,
I am really excited to be a part of your child’s education here at BHS, and I take your child’s education very seriously. I love challenging students to move beyond what they ever imagined they could accomplish. I hope to share my love of language, literature, life, and dictionaries (seriously!) with my student scholars, stretch their brains and the limits of their pencil erasers, and help transform them into skilled and creative communicators.
My goal is to make your student an independent thinker who can overcome any challenge and realize his/her personal goals and dreams. Personal freedom begins with an education, and having a high-school diploma is one way to open many doors of opportunity. A diploma is the accumulation of credits, which a student earns for each class PASSED. In addition, a student must take and pass the HSAP, or graduation/exit exam, to be eligible to graduate! In order to pass the HSAP, he/she needs to be able to demonstrate mastery of reading, writing, (and math, too!) I'm here to get them prepared! Thanks for your help and your support! |
