About me...

I grew up near Chicago, IL and received my Bachelor or Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois (Go Illini!).  My first job was at Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC but we didn't stay long.  I worked for GE as an Environmental/Safety Engineer and then began working for the University of Illinois as a Pollution Prevention Engineer before I decided to become a teacher.  So I bring with me an industrial background that I try to bring into the classroom whenever possible.  I have lived in Greenville since 2005.  I have been married for 23 years and have two daughters and a border collie.  My older daughter is at Clemson and my youngest is in kindergarten.  We all like to be outside enjoying SC weather and sites.
