The mission of Slater-Marietta Elementary School, in cooperation with the home and community, is to create a safe, nurturing environment and to provide a quality education that develops responsible, productive citizens and future leaders of a democratic society.

Keep your hands and feet to yourself
Keep your desk and classroom clean
Students who behave appropriately will be positively rewarded with pennies to spend at class store, positive notes, praise, stickers and special class activities. Any child who breaks a rule will have to give up a penny, walk 10 minutes of free time, get a note home, or be referred to principal. Every child deserves the most positive educational climate possible for academic growth.
