Buena Vista's Mission Statement
The mission of Buena Vista Elementary School is to educate
students academically while supporting them socially and
emotionally as they develop into productive citizens and
lifelong learners.
Mrs. Watson's Mission Statement
My mission is to encourage my students to be 'winners' by
doing their personal best as they prepare to be productive
citizens and lifelong learners.
Our Class Mission Statement
We will be winners by working hard to do our best so that
we can become productive citizens and lifelong learners.
Our Code of Cooperation - 2011-12
Our class began the year by reading two picture books - Crow Boy and The Three Questions.
We brainstormed class expectations based on the lessons learned from these books. These
became our class code of conduct.
*We know that everyone has abilities in different areas and that it is okay to be different.
*We know that an education is worth the hard work we put into it.
*We will treat the people around us with respect.
*Now is the most important time, and we will use it wisely.
*We will value the people around us and help when needed.
*We will do the best we can.
When we follow our Code of Conduct, we earn various rewards. See our classroom rewards and consequences listed below.
