Honor Guard is a cocurricular activity that allows cadets to more fully participate in the corps and better develop their leadership abilities. The main function of Honor Guard is to perform flag ceremonies and colorguards for events such as football and basketball games. Honor Guard cadets also have chances throughout the year to participate in special activities like parades and Drill Meets. If a cadet participates actively in honor guard throughout the semester, he/she will receive the color guard ribbon. Participation in a Drill Meet awards the Drill Team ribbon, and placing in the top 3 in a Drill Meet earns the Drill Competition ribbon. You can also earn promotion points for doing colorguard events. Honor Guard meets every Wednesday from 4:00 until 5:00.

Cadets in the Reserves program are eligible to participate in all Honor Guard events as long as they attend the Wednesday practices.
