Hello!!
I am the 7th grade Guidance Counselor at Hillcrest Middle School. This is my fourth year at Hillcrest, and I am looking forward to another great year here!
I am originally from Winnsboro, SC. I recieved my undergraduate degree from Winthrop University and my Educational Specialist degree in counseling from the University of South Carolina. My husband and I live between Spartanburg and Woodruff. We have two children, Tara 39 years old and Ryan 35 years old. Our four grandchildren are Warren, Sara, James, and Angus.
Most of my teaching career has been in South Carolina except for a year in Indiana while my husband was in the Army. I have taught math and science in Easley, Great Falls, Pacolet, and Duncan, SC. I was a counselor at D. R. Middle School in Duncan before transferring to Byrnes High School in Duncan to be a Counselor and Registrar. I retired from Byrnes in 2001 and returned to education here at Hillcrest Middle in 2008.
