Who am I? Well, let’s start with my name…My name is Ms. Davis, also known as one of the “Newbies” within Lakeview Middle School. After roughly a thirteen hour drive, I ventured down to Greenville, South Carolina from Connecticut. The past 6 ½ years have been incredibly busy! I attended Cabrini College (a small college outside of Philadelphia, PA) and also taught a Summer Session of Creative Writing. After 4 ½ years I moved home to Connecticut where I was a Reading and Creative Writing teacher for two years. During this time I worked with a wide variety of students in effort to help enhance their reading abilities. In addition to working full time as a teacher, I finished my Masters degree in English, worked a part time waitressing job, played my guitar, ran many 5K road races, assisted my family and maintained the status as the “oldest” of three sisters. I love to smile, I love to teach, I love to try new things and I love my turtle: Martin and cat: Sophia. I am very much looking forward to the upcoming 2011-2012 school year with Lakeview Middle School. Please stop in to say “hello,” my door is always open!
