Hi. Welcome to my website. I'm a Reading Interventionist at Stone Academy. I serve kindergarten and first grade students. In the past, I have taught Reading Recovery,  first, second and third grades. I have been trained in Orton Gillingham, Reading Recovery and Soar to Success reading programs. This is my 27th year teaching.

My kindergarten students are learning letters and sounds. We are learning how to use the sounds to write 3 letter words. My first grade students learn phonics, reading strategies, and comprehension. We also work on reading fluency.
