School is almost over.  Many students have tests to make up.  Please be sure students continue to keep up with assignments, studies, and make-up work and tests.

In order to save paper, students will not be given a printed syllabus for their class. Their syllabus is posted on my website.   Good communication between school and home will help your child succeed.  Please keep in touch.  If I have your email address, I can get in touch with you easily.  You will be able to go on-line and see your child's grades and attendance.   Contact your couselor or Mrs. Thorton in the front office to find out how to do this.  Look for homework assignments on my website.   Check the calendar each month for school events,  tests,  and to see when special assignments are due.  Be sure to look for my outstanding students under awards. 

German  II  students always have homework (except during Holidays.)   Make sure your child has set aside a regular time to do homework and study.  If your child frequently tells you he/she does not have homework or that he/she has already done it, please check on-line or contact me at kcox@greenville.k12.sc.us to verify this.  You may also call me at 355-1836.

US History students will also always have homework, because we have so much material to learn before the EOC (End of Course Test).  This is a very fast paced course and students will have to read and study a lot at home.

I hope each student has a successful year.  I am usually here after school for any student wanting extra help.
