Mission Statement

We provide educational experiences, in cooperation with the home and community, that prepare students for lifelong learning and for ethical, productive participation in a democratic society and the global community.

 AFJROTC Mission (motto):

Develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community.

Air Force Junior ROTC

Students enrolled in Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) receive Physical Education (PE) credit for one year and elective credit for other years.


AFJROTC does not carry any military commitment. AFJROTC is sponsored by the United States Air Force to foster citizenship and leadership.

The wear of the Air Force uniform, the practice of drill and ceremonies, the study of military customs and courtesies are intended to promote patriotism, teamwork and self-discipline.

 
Students desiring entry into the AFJROTC program must meet acceptable physical fitness standards, standards of achievement, and standards of personal conduct and appearance as prescribed by the Air Force.


 
Cadets may not have visibly pierced body parts (Nose, tongue, eyelid, lip, etc.) while in uniform. 

Hair must be clean, well groomed and neat.  If dyed, it must appear natural.  Hair color must not distinctly contrast with their natural hair color (i.,e., pink, red, blue, etc.)


*Your child WILL NOT have any obligation to the military by taking JROTC, unless he or she chooses to do so.*
