For the 2011-12 school year, I will no longer be at Beck. My position is changing to Orthopedic Lead and will be based at MT Anderson Support Center (Old Southside) in the Special Education Services offices. I will continue to conduct orthopedic evaluations for 3 year olds through 12th grade and will provide services for students who have an orthopedic impairment, have an IEP, but are not served at a satellite school.
In the new part of my job, I will observe and consult with teachers and aides in orthopedic classes at satellite schools.
Mission Statement
My mission is to support parents and teachers as they encourage students with orthopedic impairments to be as independent as possible and grow academically to become active members in society.
