Professional Belief Statement:
As a professional school counselor, I believe that all students are capable of learning, of setting and reaching goals, and of growing to be caring and productive citizens.  By teaching skills and helping to connect students with available resources both within and outside the school, I work to help students find solutions to their own problems.  I feel that I can connect best with students by modeling respect, actively listening to their concerns, and demonstrating compassion.  I am proud to be an advocate for the students of Berea High School.
