We provide educational experiences, in cooperation with the home and community, that prepare students for lifelong learning and for ethical, productive participation in a democratic society and the global community.

About Me:

I have been teaching at Bryson Middle since 2004.  Before that I taught Social Studies in Georgia for 4 years.  I have a Masters Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education.  I have earned my National Board Certification.  I was named the VFW Teacher of the Year for the Simpsonville VFW and also for the Upstate District in 2009.

I am a Captain in the North Carolina Army National Guard.  I have been serving in the Army since 1985.  I am married to Alison Maloy, a Speech Therapist with Greenville County Schools.  We have two sons, Braden and Connor, and a daughter, Abbey.
