School starts promptly at 8:30 am.  Students should arrive at school no later than 8:20 to ensure that they will be in class on time.  Please arrive before 2:45 for Early Dismissals.  School is dismissed at 3:15 pm.

Each year GCSD hosts an Annual Attendance Blitz Competition.  All schools are asked to participate.  The schools with the highest attendance rate increase are named the winners.  Woodmont Middle School won over all other middle schools in the district for the 2007-08 school year.  Also, every first week of October is the Annual Attendance Awareness Week.  Be sure to check out photos of this year's events.
