We provide educational experiences, in cooperation with the home and community, that prepare students for lifelong learning and for ethical, productive participation in a democratic society and the global community.

 What is an Instructional Coach?

As an Instructional Coach, I assist teachers with effective teaching strategies and resources to best diagnose student needs, plan. and teach more effectively.  The IC provides leadership for teachers by planning, collaborating, organizing, mentoring, and facilitating change to improve the instructional program at Slater-Marietta Elementary.


I also serve as a Reading Interventionist.  I serve at-risk students in grades 3, 4, and 5 for 45  minute daily lessons. Teaching these students have given me so much joy!  This is the best part of my day!
