Welcome to Mrs. Beeks ESOL classroom web page.  

I hope this site will be helpful to parents as well as the ESOL students at Robert E. Cashion 
and Bethel Elementary. We serve students from many countries and many languages and 
we are excited about learning from each other.Our children are at different levels of language
 acquisition and we will move from where they are and increase levels of proficiency this year.





ESOL classes integrate language skills with content based learning 
using broad themes so that students learn academic information, English skills and 
learning strategies that will enable every student to be successful in mainstream classes.




ESOL Mission Statement:
The ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) class mission is to equip English Language
Learners with necessary language skills to function comparably to native speaking peers
in social and academic situations.
