I currently serve as the 6^th grade and Special Education Assistant Principal.  My husband (Curtis) and I have three children.

I received my Bachelors Degree from South Carolina State University and Masters from Furman University.  I have taught for over seven years at the middle school level and spent three in early childhood. This is my seventh year in administration and I am loving it. 

Lakeview Middle School takes pride in working with students, teachers, parents, and the community.  It is our goal to provide our students and teachers with the continual support needed to achieve the high standards we have set. 

In the end, the purpose of education and school is to help students become life-long learners.  Education extends beyond textbooks--it involves the development of the entire student, which includes: student academic performance, interpersonal skills and maturation as a person. Leaders and other stakeholders need to work to nurture the environment for the development of the student.
