Classroom Policies

Student Conduct

1. Frequent absences from class results in poor performances

2. Students should be on time for class. Tardies will result in detention. Excessive

tardies will result in disciplinary action by the school administration.

3. Students not seated in their desk when the tardy bell rings are considered tardy.

4. Students must remain in their desk until the bell rings and they are dismissed.

5. Students must not write on desk, etc.

6. Eating, drinking, or chewing gum will not be permitted.

7. Students should have the following items in class every day: Ink pen, and notebook.

Classroom Procedures

1. Assignments will be made by unit in advance.

2. All assignments must be in blue or black ink. Name, block, and the date must be placed in the upper right hand corner of the first page and your name must be placed in the upper right hand corner of each additional page. DO NOT FOLD your paper.

3. Class papers must be written on college ruled paper unless otherwise directed. Do not write on the back of your paper.

4. Paper with frayed edges torn from a spiral notebook will not be accepted in class.

5. Papers and assignments that are illegible or improperly prepared will receive an automatic grade of F.

6. Any copying of other student's papers will result in a zero for both parties.

7. All pencils must be sharpened before class.
