We come to school to work together and learn to read, write, and do math. We make friends and are kind to one another. By learning things we will get smarter and someday go to college and get a job so we can make money.
Our Vision Statement:
We will learn how to be good thinkers. We will learn how to do things on our own, and we will help others when they need it. We will work together and have fun while we learn.

We will help each other.
We will be kind to one another.
We will share our ideas.
We will listen as others share.
We will respect the ideas and opinions of others.
We will not laugh when someone makes a mistake.
Mrs. Huguet's Mission Statement:

I will help my students grow academically, and I will help them become better listeners and problem solvers. I will support their efforts to gain confidence and independence as they interact with adults and their peers.
Buena Vista Mission Statement:
The mission of Buena Vista Elementary School is to educate students academically while supporting them socially and emotionally as they develop into productive citizens and lifelong learners.
