Our Mission To discover how the world works through the use of sound scientific principles. Our Motto
Cooperate with others. Compete only against yourself.
About Me
This is my 10th year teaching at Bryson Middle School. I earned National Board Certification as a teacher in 2008. I have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in environmental engineering, both from Clemson University. My wife Sonya and I have an 11 year old son named Talyor. When I was in the sixth grade, I played basketball and the violin. Currently, I enjoy hiking, sailing, and fishing in my spare time. My philosphy of science is that it is a lens through which we can better understand the world. The lens, however, has been proven time and again to be dirty, out of focus, or of the wrong type altogether. Good scientists question the "known". In doing so, they discover new concepts that push the envelope of science. This, of course, is what makes science so exciting.
