Dr Tracy Hall is married to Kevin Hall, an engineer at Fabri-Kal and has two sons, Chad, a recent gradiaute at Clemson now enrolled in their engineering graduate school and Kyler, a senior at Mauldin High.  She has 25 years of experience in middle, high, and college level.

Her message:
All of us are responsible for deciding whether our children are raised in a community that values family.  The Lakeview community is a family.  Lakeview Middle School has enjoyed a rich tradition of excellence and we believe we have now come full circle with renewed leadership and our focus again on family values. This school reflects the ideals of its community with our approach including a school wide effort to strengthen diversity and create a peaceful school.  The four areas of focus include academics, service learning, positive behavior management, and a discipline plan that is not punitive. LMS is one of only three district middle schools with a peer mediation program run by students.  Discipline referrals have continued to be reduced by 40% over the last five years because staff have clear consistent school wide expectations with an approach that is positive not punitive.  Curriculum includes character education and bully prevention in all three grades and a well run student government provides choices for student opportunity and input in school events.

Parents, we ask for your partnership in ensuring academic success for your child.  Please plan to attend our three PTA/Open Houses designed with fun literacy activities; your child’s fall student led conference to review his/her MAP scores, and then one final student led conference in the spring to review your child’s school work.  In addition, by establishing routines at home and having daily conversations about school activities you will help your child recognize that their parents value success in school.
